Oooh, Good Comeback

NBC's Matt Lauer interviews the cast of The Da Vinci Code, asks them how they would feel if the movie just issued a disclaimer saying it's a piece of fiction, and Sir Ian McKellan replies, "I've often thought the Bible should have a disclaimer in the front saying this is fiction. Oh, snap!

This reminds me of the episode Sweet Seymour Skinner's Baaadassss Song (episode 1F18), where Bart brings Santa's Little Helper to school and the dog gets into the building vents, and this exchange occurs:

Skinner: Willy, go into the vent and get him.
Willy: What?!? Have you gone waxy in your peaster? I cannot fit in tha' wee vent, ya croquet-playing mint muncher.
Skinner: Grease yourself up and go in, you...you guff-speaking work-slacker.
Willy:
Ooh, good comeback.

Video of the NBC interview can be seen at the MSNBC site—scroll down to the May 17 videoblog entry. Crap book, probably crap movie, definitely great quote.
